Regional Immigration Team Educates Families about Accessing Safety Net Programs

BayLegal Attorney and Regional Immigration Coordinator Mélody Saint-Saëns spoke with Univision 14 about social services and benefits that are available to eligible immigrants and their families:

“Las leyes acerca de estos servicios y programas gubernamentales no han cambiado… Los padres pueden solicitar y continuar de recibir estos servicios de estos programas a nombre de sus niños ciudadanos.”

“The laws [about cash assistance, nutritional assistance, and public health insurance programs] have not changed… Parents can apply and continue to receive services from these program on behalf of their US citizen children.”
