New Study Shows the Long-Term Impact of Civil Legal Aid

The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland and Community Legal Aid jointly commissioned The Center for Community Solutions to survey former clients about how civil legal aid impacted their lives.

The Center for Community Solutions surveyed more than 1,200 former clients across 13 counties in Northeast Ohio to find out what impact their civil legal aid experiences had on their lives, and the lives of their families, years after their cases closed. The study offers compelling evidence that civil legal aid provides long-term, lasting impacts that create stability.
