Information and resources for immigrant families who might face deportation (Spanish)

June 19th, 2019: BayLegal attorney Jessica Jenkins appeared on Univision 14 to provide information on legal rights and available resources to Spanish-speaking families with members who might face deportation proceedings. In the current climate of intensifying enforcement action and uncertainty around immigration, accurate information on the right to counsel, the right to refuse warrantless entry, the right to remain silent, and the need to consult in advance with an attorney — especially for immigrant survivors of interpersonal violence — is more critical than ever.
