If You Have a Prior Arrest or Conviction and Are Facing a Legal Issue, BayLegal May Be Able to Help

Bay Area Legal Aid’s Reentry Project has launched a new, confidential web form to help you quickly reach our team with your civil legal issues. If you have ever been arrested or convicted of a crime, and are facing a legal issue that you need help with, our Reentry Self-Referral Form lets you quickly identify the type of issue, and helps our attorneys connect you quickly with resources and advice. The new form works alongside our Legal Advice Line as a way to reach Bay Area Legal Aid for legal information, advice, referrals, and in some cases representation*.

For individuals facing the unique legal challenges where reentry intersects with housing issues; consumer, student and court debt collections; access to public benefits and health care; criminal and arrest record expungement or correction; and reinstatement of suspended drivers and professional licenses, the Reentry Self-Referral Form is a new way to access the legal expertise and support of BayLegal’s Reentry Project.
