Highlighting BayLegal’s Senior Legal Services in Napa County

Free legal services for seniors were a longstanding core component of practice for Legal Aid of Napa Valley, and a tradition that BayLegal is proud to have sustained following the 2015 agreement that made LANV part of our firm. Our attorneys partner with community organizations throughout the county to provide outreach, legal clinics, and individual services including wills, advance directives, and powers of attorney. This model addresses transit and other accessibility barriers that seniors in a large and mostly rural county often face, along with cost barriers to medical, financial, and end-of-life legal planning services.
This August 4th article in the Napa Valley Register highlights one of those partnerships, with UpValley Family Centers in Calistoga, and Napa County office Managing Attorney Kristi Lesnewich’s role in providing critically needed legal services to two of their clients.
