Legal Clinic Calendar

Important Notice Concerning Clinic Availability and Public Health:

In accord with evolving COVID-19 public health guidance, Bay Area Legal Aid has resumed some “in-person” legal clinics, while others will continue as remote events either by phone or online. Our attorneys and support staff will work to help you outside of clinic if you have a time sensitive legal issue. Our Legal Advice Line will remain open with additional staffing and resources to help us serve more clients during this period. Please see individual clinic listings for additional information on emergency service and resources related to specific clinics.
Masks will be required for all participants in in-person clinics, along with symptom screening before the appointment begins.
California Relay Service: Dial 7-1-1 or from TTY dial 1-800-735-2929 or visit California Relay Service for more information.

Free Clinic to Seal Juvenile Records
Apr 11 @ 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Free Clinic to Seal Juvenile Records @ Opportunity Junction | Antioch | California | United States

When you seal your juvenile records relating to an arrest or court case, the court deems the arrest or court case “never to have occurred.” This means that when you apply to most jobs or colleges, you may be able to say that you were never arrested and that you have no criminal history.

IF YOU:

  • were arrested before you turned 18,
  • are now 18 to 24 years old,
  • are off probation or parole, and
  • have not been convicted of a felony AFTER you turned 18

Then you might be able to seal your juvenile records. To find out if you are eligible and to schedule a free appointment at one of our clinics, call (510) 250-5281 TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT or please email Michael Santos at msantos@baylegal.org.

This clinic is a collaboration of Bay Area Legal Aid and the Contra Costa Public Defenders Office.
