Apply to the CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Program before March 31st, 2022!

The last day to apply to the California COVID-19 Rent Relief Program is March 31, 2022. Apply now!

What tenants should know about the rent relief program:
  • If you experienced financial hardship during the pandemic and have unpaid rent, you can apply at housingiskey.com to get up to 18 months of free rent and utilities assistance.
  • The application portal is multilingual and only takes about 45 minutes. Help with applications is available through the CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Call Center at 833-430-2122 or local program providers (see below for updated lists of providers).
  • Immigration status does not matter, and you will not be asked to show proof of citizenship.
  • If you have already applied, please watch for emails or phone calls from your CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Program case manager so you can reply quickly.
  • If you have been served with eviction court papers, DO NOT MOVE OUT! Call or email a local provider to help you with the legal process (see below).
