Hilda Chan

As Regional Counsel of Housing Litigation, Hilda Chan supervises and supports the attorneys and advocates in the housing unit across five counties, providing day-to-day support, mentorship and guidance to help them excel in providing high quality impactful client services, especially at the trial stage of eviction cases.

Hilda joined BayLegal in 2018 as a staff attorney with the Alameda County housing unit. Prior to BayLegal, she practiced domestic violence and family law at Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach, housing law at Eviction Defense Collaborative, and was a Soros Justice Fellow with Public Interest Law Project and Supportive Parents Information Network working to end warrantless, suspicionless D.A. home searches of applicants of public assistance in San Diego.
