Independent Assessment Team Finds BayLegal Achieves Meaningful Results for Clients
Most high-performing legal services organizations periodically evaluate their operations and work product. Few have their entire organization and work evaluated by a third-party assessment team based on performance criteria set out in the American Bar Association’s “Standards for the Provision of Civil Legal Aid.”
In February of 2011, a team of five experienced attorneys from the Office of Program Performance of the Legal Services Corporation visited BayLegal for a week to examine every aspect of our firm. Consistently, and throughout their published evaluation report, the assessment team found that BayLegal’s Board of Directors, management, staff, and operations enhance the provision of high-quality legal work and that the services BayLegal provides are, in fact, effective and achieve meaningful outcomes for clients.
